And I appreciate this all looks sunny and happy but this was the month that we were officially declared in drought. It’s been so hot for so long now, with absolutely no rain here and hot, drying, winds. It’s been exhausting and frustrating and I am increasingly anxious about what the future holds. I remind myself I can only do what I can do and so I push on xx

It feels like everyone else has had at least a rain shower this weekend? Is it just me that missed out?

No rain in weeks and weeks here now. It’s SO dry and I’m having to prioritise what to water. I’ve saved a little rain water specifically to keep the wildlife pond topped up and I’m filling the wildlife water stations daily. This must be affecting crop growth and productivity at our arable farms now? 😥

My busiest week for orders yet during an ongoing drought & heatwave … it’s been a lot some days so no filming has been done but I’ve snapped some piccies as I went along.
