Huge congratulations go to Luke and Rachel who were married on Saturday in Bournemouth 🥂

The happy couple chose our two ivory wedding VWs to transport them on their day.
Libby the Beetle took Luke and his sister to the church whilst the bride and her party travelled in Lillie, our ivory wedding campervan.
After their church ceremony the newlyweds travelled to for their reception in Lillie with Libby transporting family members.

We hope that Rachel and Luke had the most wonderful day and wish them every happiness for the future! ❤️

We’re back from a lovely break by the sea in beautiful Polzeath. 🌊
North Cornwall has always been one of our favourite places to be and it’s the perfect place for a winter recharge.

Hitting the ground running with wedding car viewings at the unit today. Thanks to anyone waiting to view or waiting for email replies/ quotes for their patience this week.

Our two classic chauffeur driven Beetles, Libby and Lilah are the perfect way to turn heads and arrive in VW style on your wedding day.

Lilah is our 1965 model, painted in VW Bahama blue. She is a real beauty and has even been featured in ‘Hello’ magazine and ‘Volksworld’ magazine.

Libby is a 1974 Karmann convertible painted in Old English white. Her roof is able to be taken up or down in seconds, allowing for the most fantastic photo opportunities!

Both can be hired individually, together or with our classic VW wedding campervans.

Just like our wedding campervans, our Beetles come beautifully dressed in your choice of ribbons, faux florals and just married signs (for after the ceremony).

Huge congratulations go to Bella and Martin who were married last Friday at 🥂

Lulu, our 1960 splitscreen wedding camper was booked as a surprise for the happy couple by their friends, Carol and Mickey.
It was lots of fun organising everything in the run up to the day, in order to keep the secret!

On the day, Lulu surprised both the groom and his party with a ride to the ceremony venue and then the bride! So a double surprise (the first we’ve driven where both parties were surprised with transport separately).
After the ceremony Lulu took the newlyweds and their children for a little drive and some pictures at Baiter before transporting them all to their reception at The Guildhall Tavern.

Our Story

Twelve years ago we took our baywindow campervan ‘Urnie’ to a family wedding-he was an instant hit! ‘Urnie’ was our first campervan, bought when we were still a young family in our twenties (that’s a while ago!) and he took us all over the country for the best family holidays.

In 2009 we decided to invest in the dream (a splitscreen campervan) and to convert it into a beautiful wedding vehicle. After a countrywide search ‘Lulu’ was found just down the road in Poole-we instantly knew she was ‘the one’. Armed with a passion to provide the very best wedding transport experience we embarked on self employment and Dorset Dubhire was born!

We’ve since been fortunate to have been a part of over 1000 wonderful weddings and have grown the fleet to three wedding campervans, ‘Lulu’ , ‘Lillie’ and ‘Lucy’ and a classic Beetle, ‘Lilah’.

We’ve picked up 12 wedding industry awards over the years and owner/operator Catherine joined the judging panel of the most esteemed awards in the industry, The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIAs) in 2020.
