😀🍏🍺𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫, please start saving cleaned plastic bottles with lids (milk and water bottles are ideal) for dropping to the village hall on the day to be filled with apple juice. You can also bring your own apples and get them pressed, doesn’t matter if they are a bit battered and bruised they will still make lovely juice! 😀🍏🍺 More details to follow.

The Verwood U3A Ukulele Band played a superb set in the village hall's delightful garden today. Visitors found shade to sit in and enjoy a musically fun afternoon, nobody will forget Doh Ray Me in a hurry 😀😀

Woodlands Village Hall provides a great community space for local residents to use for birthday parties and other events. Hopefully the sun continues to shine for the Woodlands village picnic on Sunday, on The Green from 12noon to 2pm. A reminder to bring your own food, drinks and something to sit on and enjoy chatting and sharing time with friends and neighbours.

🌳🌲𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝-𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐃𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫 (see link below for Duncan's details). So hopefully the sun will continue to shine this summer, giving hall hirers the chance to get outside to use the picnic tables and games - a big hit at birthday parties and family get-togethers 🎾🥎⚽️

Thanks also to our dedicated team of volunteers who maintain the flower troughs and to Iain who planted and looks after the VH eco garden, which is doing really well. More on what is happening to the fruits of Iain's labour in a future post. 🫛🍅🥦🫐
