A painting of the River Allen done for us by Dorset artist .gale.art. After so much winter rain and now early Summer sunshine, it’s looking it’s best and the Mayfly are hatching. We are very lucky to have two rivers here at Deans Court, The Stour, a course river and The Allen,a chalk stream, both available to fish on and the season for brown trout is now open on The Allen, and the Mayfly have just hatched. Our gorgeous off grid fishing shack, by The Allen is available for overnight fishing breaks. Please see website for details.

Valentine’s Day is in the air in our shop and cafe 💞💘💕 Pop in to the home-store to find all our favourite new things in our valentines collection and then head over to our cafe for a coffee and cupcake. If you still don’t have plans for Friday night we have a few tables left at our cheese and wine evening! Book via our website ❤️

Fresh organic radishes and salad leaves grown in our kitchen garden and used in our cafe alongside our homemade quiche 🍃 On the menu at the moment we also have a deliciously warming squash and sage soup made using the organic squash we grew back in the autumn. Pop into our cafe for lunch this week, we’re open Monday-Saturday 10-4 on Deans Court Lane, Wimborne. 🥰

We’ve had a refresh in our largest holiday property, The Gate House! New colourful valances, stripy lampshades and upholstery have been added to refresh this beautiful space and give it a revamp for 2025. While thjs coming summer is almost fully booked we’ve still got plenty of availability this winter and even over the Easter weekend.
