A quick tour of my first wedding using flowers from the field! A blog post is in the works but while I fight the formatting, here are some pictures. Swipe to see a fleet of jam jars being built.

Plenty of capacity for more weddings this year if you like the look! I can also do pastels 😃

Lovely to be back at the Broad Hinton farmer's market on Sunday! I took the approach of cutting pretty much everything that was flowering in the field and had lots of nice people stop by to chat about them and take some home.

Flash forward a couple of days and the field is bursting with flowers again - just let me know if you'd like some 💐

💐 💐 💐 Subscription flowers are now available! 💐 💐 💐

Here's a representative bunch - in a reusable jar which I'll collect when I deliver your next bunch. The beauty of buying from a local British grower is that you'll get something a bit different every time, with varieties you might not find in imports/supermarket bunches, and everything is picked to order.

There is no minimum order frequency and you can choose your delivery dates if you like (generally I offer one specific day each weekend; the next one is this Thursday 14th). They are £20 including delivery. See my website for details or DM/email me.

It would be fab if you could share this with a friend in the Swindon/Avebury/Marlborough/Devizes/Calne are who might be interested. Thank you for your support 💐💐💐

Happy Saturday and congratulations - we've all nearly completed January!

What do British flower growers do in January? Well, I'm still trying to work it all out, but today I moved some very tiny plants into cell trays, dropped a tray of snapdragons on the ground 🙃, and importantly admired the two plants that are flowering in my garden!

There were going to be field pics in this post but I was hiding my phone from the deluge 🌧️. Yesterday we planted some delphiniums, installed irrigation, did some w**ding and moved a massive piece of w**d membrane to the worst patch of w**ds - it's nothing if not glamorous!

1. Hellebore
2. Ammi visnaga (I don't get on with majus)
3. Lupin seeds after a fortnight in the fridge in damp tissue
4. Same chaps, now running the slug gauntlet in the greenhouse
5. Sweet peas - can I get away with not potting them on?
6. Oregano - herbs are a big focus for some much-needed greenery as I don't have established shrubs
7. Strawflowers - there are 200 in the greenhouse and I'm also planning a direct sown bed
8. Dahlias - expanding from 3 beds to 5 (assuming the ones in the ground survive 🤞) (btw I am not doing anything fancy with these. I will store for two months and then plant in ground at the start of April)
9. Fancy feverfew - it has a really good hardiness rating so I might just plant it out and see what happens
10. Primula

Watch my stories for number 11...
