Mandy and Stewart were delighted to spend a fantastic evening at the spectacular Wotton House this week! 🌳✨

They had the absolute pleasure of catching up with Sharon Power (Director of Sales) and Edward Adshead (General Manager) to discuss the incredible innovation happening at this historic venue.

Nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills, Wotton House seamlessly blends 17th-century grandeur with modern luxury. From being the ancestral home of John Evelyn to boasting England's very first Italian garden, the heritage here is unmatched. 🏛️

But what truly blew Stewart and Mandy away was the team's clever new features:

🍕 Fabulous new outside courtyard spaces – absolute perfection for drinks receptions and relaxed pizza parties.

🐓 Wellness & sustainability spaces – including thriving vegetable gardens with home-grown produce, and a visit to Colin the Cockerel & his chicks!

A massive well done to Liam Dyson, Aphinnat Kinnaret, Katherine Metcalfe, Victor Chan, Marcello Grasso and Amrik Mudal for exceptional winning performances.

Our chefs truly embraced this year’s Asian-fusion brief, delivering visionary dishes that married humble British staples with bold Eastern flavours. It’s been a landmark year for showcasing the prolific talent within our consortium.

And that's a wrap on the Cook & Serve 2026 competition lunch! What a fantastic service 🤩

Well done to all the teams, you smashed it today - we've been treated to truly exceptional food and service 👌

From Japanese souffle pancakes to Spicy Lychee Margaritas, the dishes coming out of the kitchen and cocktails served up by the FOH team were so creative - it was fantastic to see how inspired everyone was by this years brief; Asian Fusion.

The judges are now busy deliberating - they will have a very tough time choosing our 2026 champions that's for sure!
