Another first for Wigan and Leigh Registration Service 🤍🖤

A double Civil Partnership Formation 🫶

Sisters Paula and Sharon decided to double their celebrations by both forming Civil Partnerships with their long-term partners at the same ceremony 🎊

Such a memorable moment perfectly shared with each other as they each acted as one anothers witnesses.

They were then surprised by their family who arrived unexpectedly presenting flowers of congratulations 💐

We always go above and beyond for our amazing couples 🫶 and today was no exception ❤️ 🤍

Gary and Nicola created a truly unique and unforgettable surprise for their family this afternoon. They gifted everyone personalised Wigan Warriors shirts before revealing that they would be heading to Wigan Life Centre to act as witnesses at their wedding
🤵💍👰 ahead of the away match tonight against Wakefield 🏉

Only our Registrar Julie was aware of this surprise and plan, as they had shared their secret with her when they attended to give their legal notice of marriage.

We couldn't help but join the celebrations by wearing our own Wigan Warriors shirts to mark the occasion 🌟
