That means while you’re editing, your phone shows a clean playback feed — perfect for checking colour, framing, and how your video actually looks on a mobile device (which is where most people will watch it anyway). 📱

In this video I show you how to connect your phone as a remote monitor in DaVinci Resolve Studio step-by-step. Once it’s set up, Resolve sends a live feed from your timeline directly to your phone over the network — no exporting, no guessing how it looks on mobile.

This is especially useful if you:
• Edit social media content
• Want a clean preview without UI
• Need a quick client preview screen
• Want to see how colours translate to mobile

Small workflow upgrades like this can seriously level up your editing process.

This is a FREE App no subscription required, although you need DAVINCI STUDIO. If your a davinci user and you didnt know this feature you do now, stream your edit and correct skin tone colours, obviously every smartphone screen is different or you may have “truetone” turned on or off.

A simple tutorial search Davinci monitor app and get yourself set up for those long edits
