My philosophy is to capture the memories of your day without taking you away from it. Being the person to advise and help you in those moments you flounder, being a fun friend to ensure you are relaxed and smiling throughout your day and again, usually dancing at the edge of the dance floor at the end of the night.

Last week was full on. This week isn’t quiet and to slow me down a little more, I have a poorly Miss Ada and now running on no sleep.
Sofa day of editing it is (with a little family shoot thrown in) and oh, started the day with a flu and covid Jab! Happy happy Monday!

:: MR & MRS KNOWLES ::

Six weeks ago, Fiona messaged me to ask about my wedding packages. They’d decided to throw caution to the wind, do things their own way, and get married. And just like that, a wedding tale began. 🤍

No big guest list, no months (or years!) of planning, and no-one knowing what was happening apart from their three children and three family members. A whole lot of love, and a day that was entirely *them*.

The majestic staircase at Stockport Town Hall provided the most incredible backdrop for their photographs, before we headed to Albert’s in Standish for an intimate private dining experience where the details really did flourish.

And honestly, would I have expected anything less when the bride is Fiona, owner and creative behind party.at.six ? Every little touch was considered, with emerald green woven throughout — from her shoes and bag to the embroidered napkins (and even my supplier basket!). 💚

Even Glenn’s Lamborghini joined the colour scheme… although his shade of green was a little more lime than emerald!

A reminder that a wedding doesn’t need to follow a formula. It can be planned in six weeks, shared with just six loved ones, and still be every bit as beautiful, meaningful and unforgettable.

Fiona & Glenn, what a privilege to be trusted with your little piece of magic. ✨

Sabina & Christian tied the knot in one of my favourite venues Hidden River Barn with a wealth of my favourite (and recommended) suppliers!
Autumn was autumning and the day was perfect! From Sabina’s Polish father reading his speech in English to the groomsmen with their very creative in-wedding safety briefing.

:: BELONGING ::

Happy Saturday lovelies! Today is my last wedding of September 2026…before I nose dive into the busiest month of the year!
Today I am returning to Albert's Standish where this time last month, I photographed Rebecca and Scott’s beautiful wedding day last month.
I love working here, it’s a lovely venue and so close to home too!
Tomorrow, I will be showcasing at their new sister venue Longridge House for their open day. So if you are wedding planning, still looking for a venue or searching for your perfect suppliers, come and say hi!

:: AUTUMN ::
🍂 I am not going to lie, I do love the warmer months but I am so ready for cosy season!
I am spending the day catching up with editing but I may try to find the time to start to change over some of my decor to my autumn vibes!
I have THE busiest month of the year planned for October and I think I’ll come up for air around January! But grateful for people keeping me busy.

That autumn sunlights hits differently and after having lots of meetings with some of my October couples yesterday, I cannot wait to see what autumn has in store this year.
I still have availability for autumn winter dates in 2027 but don’t wait around 🍁🍂

:: MR & MRS SALISBURY ::
I still can’t believe I have weddings still to share - the start of the ‘ber’ months have flown and I’m desperately trying to catch up.
Katharine & Williams wedding took me for my first visit to Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort on the August bank holiday Sunday!
Whilst their day was filled with scattered downpours and a little thunder, but their day wasn’t dampened at all! They celebrated with their friends and family and made the best memories.

A little snippet at the sumptuous wedding of Me & Mrs Dunlop at last weekend.
It was my first time at this venue and I cannot wait to work here again - it’s like stepping into a real life palace.
I will be drip feeding my grid with the images from this wedding for a long time I’m sure 🤍
