📍 A legendary pitstop on the Great Orme! 🏴🪶
Did you know these incredible Eurasian Dotterels travel from their northern breeding grounds to North Africa 🌍
For just a few weeks in August and September they touch down right here in North Wales to rest on the short limestone turf. 🏴
Known for being incredibly tame, they look like little feathered stones blending perfectly into the grass! ⛰️✨🦅
Sighting Tips:Timing: Peak passage is early to mid-May.
Hour: Get there at dawn before the dog walkers and crowds arrive!
Look for: White chest bands and that iconic bright chestnut belly.
