Thereβs been a lot of discussion lately about the use of AI, and I completely understand why people have concerns about it when itβs used for the wrong reasons. π€
For me, I use it simply to tidy up my photos by editing backgrounds or removing objects that distract from the balloons and take the focus away from the work itself.
As balloon artists, we donβt have control over the venues we work in. We canβt choose the wall dΓ©cor, carpet patterns, furniture or where chairs and speakers are placed. We work with the spaces weβre given, and sometimes those little things can take away from an otherwise lovely setup in a photograph.
The balloons, the designs, the colours and the time that goes into each setup are still mine. AI isnβt creating my displays or replacing the work I do, itβs just helping me present them a little better. β¨
As a small business, I want to show my work in the best possible light, and if I can remove a speaker, a plug socket or a distracting background without changing the actual display, I donβt see the harm in that.
Thereβs a difference between enhancing a photo and misrepresenting your work, and I think that distinction matters. π€π
