How formal is your venue?

Some venues practically demand black tails, while others beg for something a little more quirky. From woodland weddings to windswept coastal ceremonies, Hampshire has a whole range of styles... and your suit can (and should) reflect that.

If you’re not sure where to start, have a scroll through your venue’s socials (and ours of course 😉) or ask to peek at their wedding galleries. What kind of suits tend to take centre stage? Which looks feel and look epic to you?

So yes, bring your own style to the table... but stay open minded. You might just surprise yourself… especially once Hannah works her magic.

At Hunter & Grey's, one of the most popular choices among our grooms is a made-to-order suit. It’s the perfect middle ground between a ready-to-wear hire style and something completely bespoke.

Here’s how it works. You choose from our collection of iconic suits available in our hire range (and yes, there are plenty of colour options in each style). From there, we make it yours. This might mean taking in the waist slightly to flatter broad shoulders, adjusting the sleeve length, or fine-tuning the fit until it feels just right. The result is a suit that looks tailored to perfection... without starting from scratch.

To take things further, we’ve partnered with our brilliant friends at Etch. They offer more than 100 fabric, lining, button and stitching combinations. That means we can also tweak design elements like the lapel shape or pocket style, and explore a wide variety of shirt options while we’re at it.
