Yesterday we had the privilege of helping a close knit family say goodbye for now to a much loved Mum, Nana, Sister and Wife. Surrounded by red to symbolise her beloved Manchester United, an intimate service was led by Jane from Forget-me-not ceremonies

We laughed and we cried as we recounted all of the things that made this wonderful lady special. No shrinking violet, we had to make sure everything was just right as we're sure she would have told us off from "up there"

One of the saddest things about our role is that we never get to meet the people who come and stay at our chapel. This service reminded us how nice it would have been to have met her, if only for a brief moment.

Rest In Peace Marie, you were and are still loved. ❤️🎩
