We had a super rockpool ramble with some lovely families today and found loads I forgot to ask to take a picture of the amazing finds: common starfish, butterfish, goby, sea scorpion, shannies, velvet swimming crab, edible crabs, shore crabs, hermit crabs, moults of crabs, a huuuggeee prawn, prawns, squat lobster, anemones, periwinkles, dogwhelks, topshells and more so using old pics for references

We are very happy to announce that Northumberland Wildlife Trusts Young Peoples Forum are hosting a Marine themed event this August called: 'Celebrate Our Geordie Shores' !

The event will take place on Sunday 16th August at St Marys lighthouse. There will be Ted Talk style presentations, crafts and arts, bird walks, space for networking, as well as a rock pooling session in the afternoon. As well as some free Greggs!!

Its lining up to be a brilliant event, please share this flyer/ticket link around your students/networks of young people. If they are passionate about the marine environment, want to meet new people, or want to learn something new. This will be the place to be!
