North Tyneside Great Community Garden Crawl 2026 - Save the date!

On Saturday 20 June, five community gardens across North Tyneside will be opening their gates for the Great Community Garden Crawl 2026.

You’ll be able to visit:
🌸 The Secret Garden Club at WBYPC
🚉 The Station Master's Community Wildlife Garden
🌱 Lovaine Community Garden
🦋 The Meadows Community Garden
🪴 West Moor Gardening Group

The 2025 Community Christmas Tree Festival, Whitley Bay, Monkseaton & Cullercoats is over and what a fabulous week we had St Paul's Parish Church Whitley Bay.
A huge thank you to all of rhe Businesses, Schools & organisations who entered one of the 53 Trees, the 2000 people who came to look at the trees, our entertainers, and the ladies Cullercoats WI for organising the event and Rev John for allowing us tonuse the church.
The Visitors choice was very close with only one vote between them. The winners were Shields WI and second place Community Programme - Linskill Trust.
Looking forward now to 2026!!

It was a very close result in the Viewers Choice at
Community Christmas Tree Festival, Whitley Bay, Monkseaton & Cullercoats which was orgatby Cullercoats WI
With only one vote separating the top 2 trees.
The winners were Shields WI with Community Programme - Linskill Trust tree coming a very close second.
A huge thanks to everyone who took part and also a big thank you to the 2000 people who came and viaited the Event.

Another fabulous day at St Paul's Parish Church Whitley Bay. The entertainment has been amazing.
We are back open on Sunday 14th December at 11am. Santa is visiting us at 1pm then the
Spanish City Rollers will be entertaining us again at 2pm, followed by a Sing along with Phillips with the Family Carol Service closing the event at 4pm. On Saturday 13th December we are open 10-5pm with live entertainment starting at 12 noon with Embleton, 1pm Larry Page Acoustic Music. And at 2pm Spanish City Rollers
