We want to talk to you about reviews. This our latest one from a new client. Reviews help business's with their search engine rankings and offer an insight for future clients.
While we find it rather galling that a business can rise or fall due to the whims of Mark Zuckerburg or the nice people at Google - that's the reality of modern day.

We really struggle to get reviews - we've probably done 40 or 50 jobs over the last month and had 5 reviews. We get it, people are busy, they tell themselves, "Yeah, I'll do it when I get 5 minutes" and of course real life gets in the way, and it gets forgotten.

However the other side of the coin is, if a company does something wrong, some folk are quick to splash the companies name all over the socials, because they are not happy. In no way are we defending bad service, it should be called out - but it does seem its easier to shout from the rooftops when it goes wrong than it is to say, "You know what, that was cracking".

So do us a favour, next time you get the feedback text or e-mail, just take two minutes to leave a comment, we're not expecting "War and Peace", just a few words, to let us know you were happy.

We also want to hear if you're not happy. If your journey hasn't lived up to its expectation, we want to know so we can put it right in the future. We will listen and we will act on it.

The best thing about this job? Its not the cars, its not the money, its the people you meet. Last night, working on behalf of Newcastle Chauffeur Cars, we had the pleasure of transporting a lovely young couple, just starting out on their journey together, to the The Vermont Hotel, Newcastle after getting married in Whitley Bay.

Turns out the couple are both teachers and after working in schools around the world, now live in Mexico city, teaching English. The poor groom had even managed to get himself a ticket to the Mexico-England game - but couldn't go as it clashed with his stag do, back in the UK. Suffice to say, he was a little bit gutted.

Its always a pleasure to listen to other peoples stories, and a part of the job we never get tired of, though we do tend to be a bit quieter when we pick you at silly o'clock to go to the airport (Lets face it, no-one feels like chatting at 4.00 am).

I know nothing about football, doesn't interest me in the slightest. However, I'm genuinly saddened by the news of Kevin Keegans passing. Back in the 90's when he came back to manage Newcastle, the Country was in the midst of a brutal recession, outlook was bleak and the North was practically abandoned by the Government of the day.

His appointment gave the region such a lift, just when we needed it in some pretty awful times. He went on to put together a team they called "The Entertainers" - we were everyone's second team.

He gave Tyneside a buzz and a atmosphere, that had never been felt before and hasn't been replicated since. If you weren't there, it can't be described at how magical the region felt for those few years. RIP King Kev, thank you for everything.

What have we been up too? Last couple of weeks we've had the pleasure of welcoming a group visiting from Tuscon, Arizona to sunny Whitley Bay. After collecting them from the airport, we then had the pleasure of transporting them to Edinburgh after a weekend visiting family.

It was VIP duty, as we were trusted with a VIP transfer from the North East to LHR for a client who was off to the England training camp in Kansas -as well as transporting a lovely lady who called us after being dissatisfied with the service she had received from local taxi firms.

We are seeing an increase in business from people based on the client experience. Be it from our 137 5* Star Google reviews or simply personal recommendations from friends and family, they constantly tell us, "Its not about the cost, its about having someone I can trust". Just want to apologise to our customer, whose teenager left their phone in the car last night. The phone was returned this morning and we are hoping that said teenager isn't too traumatised and needing therapy after not having access to the phone for almost 8 hours.

Having had my own teenagers melt down after battery level dropped below 80%, our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this distressing time! 🙏🙏🙏😉😆😆😆
