After a difficult few weeks and the recent loss of our father Jim Mortimer we've appreciated your patience while we've taken the time with our family to pay our respects to the man who we took our name from and without whom we wouldn't be the successful business we are today. We want to get back to doing what we do well this coming weekend as Jim would want us to so we're running a pop up service open to the general public at HIGHER HEATH VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK on FRIDAY 20TH. We'll start service from 5PM UNTIL 8PM and as usual we'll be taking your pre orders all week this week from today and into service on Friday. This Saturday 21st June we'll be catering at a private wedding party in Whixall so we're also looking forward to the celebrations with Sarah and Jason this weekend.
We look forward to seeing you all at the weekend, throughout the rest of the month and into the summer months.

PLEASE NOTE WE'RE CANCELLING THIS WEEKENDS PIZZAS DUE TO FAMILY BEREAVEMENT, WE WILL BE BACK VERY SOON!
After another busy weekend at The Market Drayton Tigers Football tournament we're preparing to return to two of our local popular council licenced pop up locations.
We'll be taking the trailer out and about sharing our deliciously fresh and authentic woodfired pizzas at a location near to you starting this FRIDAY 13TH JUNE at THE HOLLIES(SECURASOUND), FRONT LAY-BY, CHESTER ROAD, WHITCHURCH, and then onto TILSTOCK BRADBURY VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK, CRABMILL MEADOW, SY13 3PL.
Both servings start from 5PM until 8PM and are open to the general public. You can pre order any time throughout this week and into service at each pop up serving via any of our contact methods.
Come and support your local small business and we'll look forward to sharing our woodfired delights with you all!

We're starting to prepare for another busy weekend coming up where we're delighted to have been invited to attend the Market Drayton Tigers annual summer football super 7s tournament. We'll be serving on both Saturday 7th June and Sunday 8th June from 10am until 3.30pm. No pop ups this weekend but we'll be back at The Hollies and Tilstock the following weekend with lots more to come throughout this month and into the summer!😊🍕

Our star of the show last night at Higher Heath was the new member of our pizza family The Chicken & Bacon with Hot Honey Sauce😋. We hope you enjoyed trying the tasty savoury, hot and sweet combination, it will be back!
This morning we're busy getting ready for a private party serving for a local business at Prees Airfield this evening. We have lots of upcoming events, pop ups and private bookings planned throughout this month. Watch this space for more info😊🍕

We're all set at HIGHER HEATH VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK for this afternoon/evening's pop up serving. We start service at 5pm until 8pm. You can still pre order or come and see us to order over the counter but don't leave it too late as we do sell out on occasion.

Don't forget we're back popping up at HIGHER HEATH VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK tomorrow afternoon/evening FRIDAY 30TH MAY serving from 5PM until 8PM. We're continuing to take pre orders throughout today and into service tomorrow. So get your Friday night woodfired pizza orders in now to ensure you don't miss out on an extra special tea time. We're proud to say that all our pizzas are made with our own home made dough, topped with the freshest prepared toppings and baked in our woodfired oven while you wait.

We've a had super busy and productive return to business this weekend after our hols at The Whitchurch Food and Drink festival on Saturday and yesterday evening thanks to Kay and Rob for making us part of your family party at your home which reminds us of what our business is all about providing good honest home made pizzas for all the family at competitive prices.
This weekend we're back at HIGHER HEATH VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK on FRIDAY 30TH MAY running our next pop up open to the general public serving from 5PM until 8PM. We're well rested after a couple of weeks away and we're looking forward to seeing all our loyal and supportive customers and perhaps some new additions throughout Friday evening. As usual we are now taking pre orders throughout the week and into service on Friday. We're introducing a new special topping for you to try, the Chicken & Bacon with Hot Honey Sauce, we hope you enjoy trying this delicious combo as much as we have this week. We're delighted to have been invited by a local business to serve their staff at a private party this Saturday 31st so we won't be popping up as usual this Saturday. Watch this space for our future servings throughout June including some great events, private parties and more local pop ups.

So we're back from hols and although as some of you may know we've have had a hard few days for our family we are starting to prepare for a busy weekend when we'll be attending the Whitchurch Food and Drink Festival on Saturday 24th May and then we have a private party booking on Sunday 25th May.
We look forward to seeing you all again at The Jubilee park in Whitchurch on Saturday🙂🍕

Before those two serving at the end of the month we're focusing on taking part in the Whitchurch Food and Drink Festival on 24th May so we hope to see you on any of those up and coming dates.

The Mortzarella Team are taking a holiday break until May 19th. We're recharging our pizza making batteries after busy start to the year and to get ready for an even busier up and coming planned summer season.
We won't be at our usual pop up locations I'm sorry until the end of the month where we'll return to Higher Heath and the Hollies. Before those two serving at the end of the month we're excited to be returning to The Dickin Arms in Loppington on 19th May after a successful sell out last time and then onto the following weekend we're focusing on taking part in the Whitchurch Food and Drink Festival on 24th May so we hope to see you on any of those up and coming dates.
For the time being though we continue to relax in the sun and take a break!
