What an incredible day I had with Tom & Jess on Friday. Their wedding day had arrived with thunder storms & torrential rain but that had left us by mid morning.

What we were left with was just gorgeous. Blue skies and a stunning family garden to capture some lovely pictures for the very happy couple.

I’ve known Tom for a long time, and to see him so happy & at ease around Jess it was very clear to see how much he absolutely adores her. I’m so happy for the both of you.

Morning everyone

I was at Rushpool Hall this week for a stunning wedding for Hannah & Kory, who after 9 years together tied the knot in the beautiful venue near Saltburn.

A very blustery location shoot down in Saltburn too as we went for a quick shoot along the pier.

I had an absolute amazing day yesterday at Oulton Hall near Leeds for Simon & Katie’s stunning wedding. One of the best venues I have ever had the pleasure to photograph a wedding at, and one I have every intention of visiting again.

Simon & Katie are such a lovely couple and it was a privilege to capture their special day.

It was great to meet you both along with your friends & your family & I would like to wish you both all the very best in your future together as a married couple.

Sunday in Danby – a chance to catch up with old friends, but more importantly, to capture the wedding of my dear friend Dave and his beautiful bride, Katy.

I’ve been fortunate to photograph so many weddings over the years, and some of my favourite moments have been with friends I’ve known since primary and secondary school. There’s something truly humbling about being invited that close to watch people you’ve grown up with say “I do.”

I can’t help think back to when we were children and I get all nostalgic. Sunday was no different!

Danby Castle, as always, looked breathtaking in the August sunshine. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Dave and Katy were married – and from the second Dave first saw Katy walking down the aisle, the smiles never stopped.

What a wonderful couple you are. I wish you both nothing but happiness in the exciting journey ahead.

Stunning wedding yesterday at Grand Villa Heights for Derren & Stevie. The whole place is stunning no matter what the weather but in the middle of summer when the sun shines like it did yesterday, well it’s amazing. I even got to see some familiar faces there too.
