We’ve been busy behind the scenes at Whitby Pirate Festival 2026, working hard to bring you plenty of exciting news over the coming weeks!

First up, we’re delighted to announce a new collaboration with Crafty Cove, Whitby, who will now be producing all of our official festival merchandise—keeping it local and supporting local talent.

Hoist the colours it’s only Frankie Heartless & The Heartless Rogues … joining the lineup at Whitby Pirate Festival!

On Sunday 30th August, they’ll be taking to the stage at Eighteen 91, bringing their unmistakable blend of sea shanties, folk favourites and full-throttle pirate energy.

And they won’t be sailing alone…
They’re supporting the mighty East Town Pirates, so you know it’s set to be a night of pure pirate mayhem from start to finish.

Whitby will already be awash with pirate shenanigans all weekend

Ahoy to all our pirate crew down in The Brixham Pirate Festival! 🏴‍☠️

Wishing you all a truly fantastic Bank Holiday weekend—may it be filled with rum, chaos and just the right amount of shenanigans. We’ll be raising a tankard your way and counting down the days until we do it all again this August in Whitby!

If this weekend is anything to go by, then August Bank Holiday is shaping up to be an absolute belter…

⚓ Friday – We muster the crew aboard the mighty The Whitby Endeavour Replica with the unstoppable sounds of Reivers' Gallows
🐻 Saturday – The legendary The Captain's Beard take over Eighteen91
🎶 Sunday – We round it all off in style with the brilliant East Town Pirates, back at Eighteen 91, supported by Frankie Heartless & The Heartless Rogues

Same spirit, same sea air, just a different stretch of coast… and we can’t wait to share it with you all.
