We host only a limited number of weddings each year, meaning that your day is even more special (none of that wedding 'churn' you get at many other venues). With exclusive use of the house and grounds, you and your guests will feel as though you're celebrating in your own country home.

This beautiful courtyard sits peacefully under the old stone dovecote. It flows seamlessly from the The Old Stables- the sympathetically renovated grade II listed stable barn in which The Long Gallery and The Stable Bar is situated.

The courtyard can be covered by a beautiful Raj Tent to provide outdoor seating with easy access to the bar and dancing, allowing you to celebrate into the night.

With it’s period charm and views onto the gardens and terrace, The Garden Hall is a lovely room for your drinks reception or intimate feast. The Garden Hall flows seamlessly from The Drawing Room and opens onto The Lavender Garden.

Egton Estate manages around 500 acres of woodland, including ancient, amenity, and commercial areas. Much of this woodland has remained unchanged for over 400 years, with ancient woodlands still standing where they did in the 17th century.

We’re committed to restoring and protecting these spaces—replacing non-native trees with native broadleaf species and maintaining important wildlife corridors that connect habitats across the estate.
