Well kids… THAT’S A WRAP FOR 2026! 🧡🖤

And what a year it’s been.

From the cold starts and muddy miles, through the triathlons, sea swims and summer evenings at Bowleaze — BustinSkin Events 2026 is officially DONE. 👊

A massive THANK YOU to every single person who raced, volunteered, marshalled, supported, shouted, clapped, helped set up, helped pack away or simply came along and became part of it.

These events don’t happen without you lot. Simple as that. 🧡

So… feet up for a bit?

Not a chance. 😂

Because the 2027 season kicks off on Valentine’s Day ❤️

📍 Portland, Dorset

Wild coastline. Big views. February weather doing whatever February weather decides to do. And one hell of a way to kick off another year of BustinSkin events.

Then it’s onwards into another season of racing, with The Pig, Weymouth Classic & Sprint and Dorchester all waiting in 2027.

🏊‍♂️🏃‍♀️ ONE LAST AQUATHLON — LET’S MAKE IT THE BIGGEST ONE YET! 🏃‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Tomorrow night is the FINAL BustinSkin Aquathlon of the 2026 season at Bowleaze — and we want to finish the summer with a proper crowd. 🖤🧡

Whether you’ve raced every round, joined us once, marshalled, supported from the sidelines or haven’t made it down yet — tomorrow is the night to come and be part of it.

No pressure. No egos. Just a great bunch of people having a swim, getting round the 5K and enjoying a summer evening together by the sea.

You don’t have to be quick. You don’t have to be an experienced triathlete. You just need to be comfortable swimming 1K continuously in the sea and fancy giving it a go.

And if racing isn’t your thing, come down anyway — cheer everyone on, bring the family, bring your mates and help give the 2026 series the send-off it deserves.

The weather will soon turn, the evenings will disappear and another summer of racing will be done.
So ONE MORE TIME, BOWLEAZE.

Well... what a great night at the Aquathlon! 😎

Firstly, thank you all for coming along and supporting us again. We had a brilliant evening.

Now... when I say we had a great night... we may have had a slight timing issue. 🙈 The bloke who was supposed to roll the timing mat out at the swim start was apparently far more interested in watching you all from the pier to make sure you were safe! 🤣 yep me aka chopper!

The good news is that all of tonight’s finish photos are time-stamped, so we’ve got everything we need to sort it. We’ll be updating the timing data as soon as possible to match everyone’s actual times.

We may also have missed a few of you on the swim exit timing... sorry about that! I’m ginger, the sun got to me, and that’s my excuse... 😘
