Sadie Osborne Photography Hey! We’re Sadie & Kirsty — Team SOP ✨ Documentary wedding photographers based in Dorset. Capturing real moments, raw emotions & all the gorgeous light.

Love stories told organically. 💛

Capturers of life & light Hello there, nice to meet you, my name is Sadie Osborne. I was born and raised in the beautiful county of Dorset, which is in the South of England. Salty sea air and dense woodland lay deep in my bones. When I was younger I aspired to be an archaeologist. My curious mind was fascinated with the past, rooting through history books looking at the pictures from long ago. It wasn’t until I decided against the academic education system that I found what I was born to do. Leaving a classroom filled with endless amounts of words to a photographic darkroom where I would spend the majority of my time capturing moments in time. This is where my purpose began. I believe that photography is one of the most powerful experiences that the human species has discovered. The simple beauty that is holds will always inspire my mind. The power to enable a person to feel the exact emotion they once experienced, the power to bring people together, the power to keep something alive forever and the power to let others see. I could write so much about myself, bore you with all the fine details on what makes my brain tick. The most important thing you should know is that I love what I do. I hold capturing moments in time very close to my heart, whether they are my own or someone else’s. I have been given a purpose to make a difference in peoples lives by what I can see through my own eyes. Whatever it will be, I will always be created with a deep passion.

There are 86400 seconds in a day.

Within each of those seconds, there will be a memory that is remembered. We will return to that second over and over again, reliving and re feeling.

in wedding photography sometimes seconds come and go with fleeting speed, other times they slow down a little and let you take and keep them.

Whatever the second holds, as a photographer it is always a gift that is given to you to immortalise

What makes a team 🖤

As I sit editing photographs on my computer eagerly awaiting the solar eclipse, I had a smile come to my mind, because I remebered these photos that were taken of me and team member Kirsty. (Thanks Bee…you capture us extremely accurate😂)

It’s rare to find someone who shares pretty much the same photographic mind as you, but more importantly the same heart. Kirsty joined my side in the photographic journey way back in 2018 and hell I have appreciated every single year! She puts up with my s**t jokes, stupid ideas, lack of snacks and wedding sweats…but she always encourages my crazy ideas, getting on the dance floor, creative vision, to drink water and to remind me to see the sunshine when it’s a hard time.

She’s my team photographer for many reasons, and every reason is worth its weight in gold nuggets!

We go together like peas and carrots
