Wedding days aren’t always about only celebrating your marriage union, they’re sometimes about celebrating your family union.

If you have children, you may wish to include them in your ceremony. This can be with a ritual, personal promises or just a mention.

If they want to be with you for the entire ceremony, it’s not problem at all! Wedding days can be overwhelming and you are their happy place. My job is to make sure everyone is comfortable and that the ceremony is the best moment of your day.

Amie & Jack chose to plant a lemon tree for their daughter and even Percy the dog got involved. 🍋

As your ceremony leader, I am here for you to make your wedding ceremony comfortable and to meet your requirements.

If you’d rather not speak, be seated for the entire ceremony, font for reading is large, or arrange chairs in a way that’s less daunting - anything goes. It’s your ceremony. If you’d like your child involved but not sure how they’ll react on the day, I’m happy to meet them as many times before and involve them in a way that’s natural for them.

You can even ask me to not wear patterns or perfume if it will be sensory overload for you.

I’ll work with you to ensure it’s everything you’ve dreamed of and all areas are considered.

Autumn ceremonies 🍂

I absolutely loved having Christmas-time weddings in the diary, last year! G&F had the most magical day. ✨

I have space this autumn across October-December if you’re looking to have a wedding ceremony, vow renewal or baby naming ceremony.

Celebrancy isn’t just “a job” to me, it’s might seem cringe to say but it’s truly a passion. You *have* to be passionate to be trusted with one of the most important moments of someone’s life.

For every couple who has booked me, and for those who continue to, you’re my reason why.

The beauty of a celebrant-led ceremony is that you can just about include anything you wish, or no added extras at all - the choice is yours!

We use rituals in ceremonies to symbolise your marriage union. This is usually by two things coming together or being created together.

Chris and Toni decided to design and make their own blend of loose leaf tea for each other and sipped it as they enjoyed a reading by a friend at their LulworthWeddings ceremony with Laura Bell - Dorset Celebrant

This idea came about after we met over burgers to discuss their hobbies, interests and first date. 🫖

With over 90 ceremonies under my belt plus my previous experience as a weddings manager and coordinator, you name it - I’ve been asked it and dealt with it seamlessly.

I’ve walked into flooded ceremony spaces, venues on fire, people turning up in the same outfit as the mother-of-the-bride, disruption, obscene heat, the ring-bearer dog toileting down the aisle, DIY wedding disasters, 200+ guests in one ceremony and a time where someone actually forgot the rings.

Things happen at weddings that you can’t plan for but I arrive over an hour early to check in with the venue, the couple and the main guests involved in key moments to crisis control and organise.

I’ll bring a copy of your vow books with a colour matching ribbon, a copy of any readings and a paper copy of your script.
If you’re having rituals for your ceremony, I’ll bring the accompanying items so all you need to remember is yourself - and the rings!

I’m more than happy to attend your venue the week before or run a rehearsal so everyone is as cool and collected as I’ll be on the day.

Get in touch if that’s your vibe 🤍

Kind words from my couples ❤️

Shannon and Connor loved how collaboratively we worked together to create a unique ceremony which included their cats, along with a gorgeous poem and handfasting.

One of the best things about having a Celebrant-led wedding is how much time we are able to dedicate to you.

This means getting to know you, your story and the key people in your lives to write an incredible ceremony script that’s reflective of everything you wish; but feels like you.

I absolutely loved working with Zoe & Daisy on their ceremony and running the rest of their day at Littlewood Lodge Dorset . Their friends and family thought I had known them for years!
