It's been a busy few weeks for Taste, with a packed schedule of weddings, corporate events, and supporting many fantastic charity initiatives across Yorkshire.

One standout moment for us each year is proudly supporting CUX Culinary Company at the Duncombe Park Charity Event.

This truly exceptional event sees over 500 guests catered for each day, serving breakfast and lunch across two days. It is an incredible showcase of collaboration, generosity, and community spirit, all in support of some truly deserving causes.

This year's beneficiary charities were:

• Bradford Hospitals Charity
• FareShare Yorkshire
• Henshaws
• Horatio’s Garden
• Martin House Children’s Hospice
• Yorkshire Air Ambulance

We are delighted to share that this year's event raised an incredible £444,000, helping these wonderful charities continue their vital work supporting people across Yorkshire.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in making this event such a success. We are incredibly proud to play a small part in this unique fundraising event and look forward to supporting CUX Culinary for many years to come.

We love being part of so many great events throughout the year, but last Friday was a little different as we had the pleasure of attending the 10th Yorkshire Choice Awards as guests.

Taste Cuisine has supported the awards every year, and it’s always one of the highlights of our calendar. It’s a fantastic evening celebrating the amazing people, businesses and charities that make such a difference across Yorkshire.

A huge congratulations to everyone who was nominated, shortlisted and awarded on the night. The stories shared were truly inspiring.

Thank you to the Yorkshire Choice Awards team for another wonderful event. We’re already looking forward to supporting the awards again in 2027.

This week we were delighted to serve a memorable dinner for the Trustees of Allerton Castle. Guests were welcomed with a selection of handcrafted canapés, including:

• Salmon blinis with delicate garnishes
• Classic Italian bruschetta
• Mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef
• Honey mustard glazed sausages

For the main course, we presented our signature Beef Wellington, featuring tender beef wrapped in a rich truffle duxelle and encased in golden Maldon puff pastry. This was accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes, vegetables, and a luxurious Madeira jus.

To finish, guests enjoyed a beautifully balanced dessert of glazed lemon meringue, served with lemon sherbet, raspberry sorbet, granola crumb, and delicate viola flowers.

An evening of exceptional food in the stunning surroundings of Allerton Castle, it was a privilege to cater for such a distinguished gathering.
