HARD TIMES RELOADED β€” THANK YOU!

What a night.

A massive thank you to every single person who came down and supported the night.

After bringing Hard Times back, nights like this remind me exactly why I started this brand in the first place. The support has been absolutely unreal, and I genuinely appreciate every person who bought a ticket, travelled down, danced all night, shared the event, tagged us, or simply came through the doors and helped create the atmosphere.

Huge respect to all the artists who absolutely smashed it.

Big love to Kryptic Sounds Soundsystem for bringing the pressure and making The Electric Banana sound absolutely savage πŸ˜…

A massive thank you to all the staff for looking after us, and to everyone else behind the scenes who helped make the night happen.

Most importantly though β€” THANK YOU TO THE HARD TIMES FAMILY.

Hard Times is back where it belongs, and Saturday proved that the appetite for proper hard music, proper soundsystems and proper rave culture is still very much alive.

See you at the next one πŸ™πŸΌ

Resident, Rennz (aka π‘«π’Šπ’”π’•π’π’“π’•π’†π’… π‘«π’“π’†π’‚π’Žπ’”) will be bringing his signature sounds back to HT stage. Always a crowd favourite πŸ”₯

Rennz is a South West-based DJ and producer making his mark on the hard trance scene with his high-energy performances and distinctive production style.

As a solo artist and through collaborations including Distorted Dreams, Rennz & Raybold, and Marcio, Rennz & Menace, Aaron has performed at some of the UK’s leading events and brands, including Atmosphere, Hindsight, North, Bionic & HTE.

In the studio, Rennz has developed a sound that is unmistakably his own β€” driven by hard-hitting kick and bass combinations, colourful and twisted synths, and quirky, unexpected drops. His productions have earned releases on some of the industry's most prestigious labels, including Sony, Universal, and Armada, further establishing his reputation as a producer with a sound that refuses to fit neatly into a box.

Whether behind the decks or in the studio, Rennz is constantly pushing the boundaries of hard trance, blending energy, creativity, and unpredictability into every performance and production.
Expect the unexpected.

Just Josh is fresh to the scene by name, but not by experience. As one half of the meteoric duo Distorted Dreams, he's now on a solo quest to build on the success and momentum of that globally renowned partnership. An unbelievable wave that saw a Global No 1 record in the form of 'We Come 1' alongside Ben Nicky, millions of streams on his music, arena-sized shows and a record deal with Sony Music.

Back with a whole arsenal of new music currently dropping across a range of exciting labels, Josh is now taking his new sound to the stage. While his roots remain firmly in hard trance and the distinctive sound he’s become known for, the Just Josh project will see him exploring the wider spectrum of electronic music, bringing together the sounds and influences that have shaped him throughout his career.

Introducing another artist and he's no stranger to Hard Times. The Welsh legend that is 𝗗𝗝 π—–π—›π—¨π—–π—ž-π—˜ πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Chucks played for us a couple of times many moons ago, and now he's back once again to tear things up 🀘🏼

πŸ›Έ The ever-versatile DJ Chuck-E is an emblematic figure of the UK rave scene, with decades of experience and influence across Hard Trance and the Harder-Styles circuits. Renowned for his commanding stage presence and relentless energy behind the decks, Chuck-E has carved out a reputation as one of Wales’ most respected names at the harder end of the electronic music spectrum.

πŸ›Έ A former winner of the national PYP DJ Competition, Chuck-E is celebrated for his explosive, genre-blending sets and ability to take a dancefloor on an unforgettable ride β€” seamlessly moving between Trance, Hard Trance, the Harder-Styles & Hardcore, while maintaining his trademark intensity.

πŸ›Έ Chuck-E has appeared live on BBC Radio 1 as part of Kutski’s Inspiration Generation feature, completed sell-out tours of Australia and performed headline sets across the globe, including South Korea and Norway. He also launched his Science Fiction album at the legendary 60,000-capacity Defqon.1 Festival in the Netherlands.

πŸ›Έ With an extensive list of residencies over the years, including Trancefusion, GBH, Breathe, Panic Room, Sugar, OSU, Euphoria and Outrage, combined with a heavy week-to-week gig schedule, Chuck-E has firmly established himself as a major player on the Hard Trance and Harder-Styles circuit and has been booked for virtually every major Hard-Dance promoter in the UK, such as Bionic, Frantic, Goodgreef, Slammin Vinyl, Clubland, Escape, H.T.I.D, Hard Trance Europe, Back to the Future and many more.

πŸ›Έ Being coined β€˜The UK’s number 1 Hard Trance team’ by Hard-Dance Kingpins, Frantic, his former partnership with JTB (Jon the Baptist) opened the door to an exciting chapter in Chuck-E’s career, with the duo signing to the renowned Italian imprint Future Sound Corporation and delivering standout releases including β€˜Magic’ and β€˜A New Hope’. Their music has also found a home on an impressive and diverse roster of labels, including AWsum Black, Bionic Digital, Mental Madness, Massive Trax and Hard Trance Europe, further cementing their presence across the international Trance and Hard Trance communities.

πŸ›Έ Away from the decks, Chuck-E is equally committed to the scene. From being an editor at Core magazine, teaching DJ skills while working for β€˜The DJ Academy’, to promoting events, running labels, writing promotional blurbs for artists and promoters, the former co-owner of Intolerance Recordings now co-runs the Jinko Chino imprint alongside Jaimy J. He is forever working closely with DJs, artists, promoters and brands while supporting the next generation of local talent and helping aspiring DJs develop their own journeys.

As we countdown the days until our relaunch event, we're going to introduce a few artists that will be playing on the night.

Flying in from Scotland, we've got the awesome π—€π—¨π—œπ—‘π—‘π—¬ πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Quinny has been immersed in electronic music culture since his early teens. Discovering DJing at just 12 years old, he developed his skills in his bedroom before moving into music production in 2014. His early studio years were shaped by hard dance and hardstyle influences, leading to performances at respected UK events including Infexious, Goodgreef Xtra Hard, Kiddstock and Hellfire, where he built a reputation for high energy sets and technical precision.

In 2019, Quinny stepped away from the scene following the birth of his son, putting family first and pressing pause on a growing career. When lockdown arrived, so did a revival. Dusting off his Technics 1210s, he reconnected with the tougher, tech driven trance sound that first inspired him during his Arches days, rediscovering the raw underground edge that shaped his musical identity.

Returning to production with renewed focus and maturity, 2024 marked a defining chapter. Quinny delivered an official remix for Baby D on HTE, which remained in the charts for nearly a year. He followed this with a remix for Toxen and an original release on HTE, firmly establishing his place within the modern hard trance resurgence.
His remix of Y-Traxx quickly gathered serious traction after being supported by Fish56Octagon across his social media channels and also supported by Tiesto , Lange and The Space Brothers to name a few . The track went on to be hammered at some of the biggest events and festivals Fish and Lange performed at, exposing Quinny’s sound to a much wider audience and cementing his reputation for producing powerful, driving hard trance with impact.

In 2026 he released a remix of The Space Brothers - Forgiven on Armada Music and is now back behind the decks once more already having appearances including HTE Weekender and a show in Edinburgh for Compression, Quinny’s comeback continues to gather momentum.
Now fully re-energised and creatively locked in, Quinny’s sound blends hard trance intensity with technical edge, reflecting both his roots and his evolution. Returning to the music he is truly passionate about has brought a fresh perspective and hunger, and this new chapter feels bigger, sharper and built to last.
