Thanks to all of you who sent through birthday messages. Much appreciated.

My family and I spent 2 wonderful days in Stratford Upon Avon Riverside and Warwick Castle, and I can highly recommend both if you are looking for day trips.

Stratford upon Avon provided a lovely backdrop to walking around and enjoying a drink by the river.

Warwick Castle was super. The jousting War of the Roses was super, and the falconry show of birds of prey was amazing. Seeing these birds up close was amazing, and the end brought tears of joy to my eyes.

The Castle itself is huge.

I cashed in £50 worth of Tesco vouchers, exchanged them for £100 Warwick Castle credit and topped it up with £7 for the full day out.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Warwick who gave us a family room, free WiFi and breakfast included for a good deal for the four of us, about £120/night.

From today, I have got 4.5 days off, so I started with a couple of 241 cocktails at Sass.

I have been doing 14 hour days for 5 weeks, catching up with admin often at midnight, but loving the job, entertaining people and putting smiles on your faces.

But tonight, I can actually cook a meal, put my feet up, not think about having to plan the next day and make sure the car is packed with the right resources.

It feels weird.

PJ the Showman was a massive hit with the families. Everyone enjoyed his silly antics and he was a joy to work with.

Bridgwater Playday today was a delight. Hundreds of families came to enjoy a day of completely free entertainment.

Free inflatables, free fairground rides, free rock climbing, free bubbles, free balloons from Balloonatude, free magic from Richard Ballenger, free walk about magic from Ozzy D, and 5 live shows from Action Pussycat, including meeting Bluey and Chase from Paw Patrol, a. Magic show and family games.

I grabbed a photo of the winner of the mummy dance off, we met the mayor and mayoress of Bridgaater (who was in my class at school), and West Country Legend Rockin' Johnny came to meet Bluey.

It was all arranged by Bridgwater Town Council. Well done to all

It was a super Somerset night tonight at Home Farm Holiday Park, and a busy one for me. My trusted assistant was off sick, and nobody was in to replace her.

Luckily I had some friendly and professional acts on last night, who just pitched in to help me out.

Punch and Judy had a massive crowd watching and joining in, and the Twurzles brought the party with lots if fun and sing alongside.

Quiz night at The Landing Light tonight, and we had some new teams get hooked, plus some people who didnt play, but said they really enjoyed it and will be back for the first Monday in September.

It was Harry Potters birthday in Friday, and Little Farm Childcare asked me over to run a magical themed activity day.

We made potions, played themed games, and made these magical character cards for role playing action. It was 4 hours of fun.
