Today me and EverLeigh had lots of fun in a different park and explored! 🐿️🌹🌸🌺🍎🍓
We met a lovely squirrel today who was very tame, Incorporating wildlife into the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is crucial for children's development, fostering empathy, promoting understanding of the natural world. Everyleigh couldn’t quite work out what it was she’s very much used to dogs and cats so her expressions were very funny 😂
We also enjoyed the flowers which I had to take EverLeigh away from as she took smelling to a whole new level and kept running through them 😂
We visited the local market where EverLeigh picked some of the fruits she wanted for home,
Visiting shopping centers can offer valuable learning opportunities for EYFS children, fostering social skills, mathematical understanding, and an awareness of the world around them, we counted them out and EverLeigh held them.
The park is everleighs favourite place to visit!
Playing in the park is a valuable experience for EYFS children, this involved physical development social, and emotional development, while also promoting exploration and learning about the natural world, EverLeigh was quite shy today and spent most of her time observing everyone as this is the first time she’s been to this park. She ‘had a go’ at the slides, swings and more.
Lastly before dinner time we got some of our sensory toys out,
sensory play with toys helps children explore their senses, develop fine and gross motor skills, and supports their emotional and social development through engaging, hands-on experiences, EverLeigh likes to say ‘pop’ ‘pop’ on the poppets.
