We enjoyed a beautiful (but rather wet) walk to the Hilbre Islands at the weekend.

If you haven’t been, I would highly recommend it. You park at West Kirby beach and walk over to the small island and from there over to the larger one.

It’s not an easy walk and the terrain is wet and a little tricky so not suitable for small children but we had kids from age eight upwards with us and they loved it! So much to explore.

I just wanted to share the beautiful flowers that are filling the island at the moment …Sea Thrift (the pink one) and Birds -Foot Trefoil (The yellow one).

Flowers always brighten up grey days! 🌸

Spring!
Hello there… It has been a busy couple of months for us here.

We enjoyed a lovely holiday and myself, hubby and our son all have our birthdays within six weeks of each other so the start of Spring is always busy and beautiful!

I love this time of year! The lighter evenings, the air feels fresher, the blossom, birdsong, spring flowers.. It is just so very beautiful!

A few weeks ago we got an email from one of our lovely guests saying she would like to book the Spring wreath making but would have a new baby and would it be ok to bring baby along!

There was only ever going to be one answer… Absolutely! (And with an offer to hold baby whilst Mama created her wreath of course).
