Meet the team behind the dresses, outtakes included. Brace yourselves.

Our content is never going to be perfect, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Every giggle, every fluffed line and every “wait, can we go again?” is just us being us.
Usually for the fifteenth time.

We spend our days helping brides find the dress of their dreams, and we are very good at it. Switch the camera on and suddenly we can’t string a sentence together without someone cracking up.

But that’s the whole point. We’re real people who love what we do, and we definitely don’t take ourselves too seriously here at 1840.

So here’s the unfiltered version, the bits that would normally be deleted and never spoken of again. Consider it a sneak peek at what we’re really like when the camera is rolling.

We did it! We’ve made it through to Regional Finalists of the as Bridal Retailer less than 4 years and we are thrilled!

We LOVE our boutique and are so grateful to the judges for their time, our team and families for believing in what we do and most importantly to the brides who choose us and voted for us - THANK YOU!

Now to book our tickets and choose our outfits - Regional Finals here we come!

It's good to talk...

Sensory needs are real, and you never have to explain or apologise for them here at 1840.
As an autistic adult and a mum to two autistic children, I get it. Scratchy lace, stiff tulle, itchy linings, beading under the arms... the feel of a wedding dress matters just as much as the look.
