🌸 Foraging (almost) freebie 🌸

Wee change from cakes this afternoon, Elderflower Cordial. This is one of my favourite foraging things to make and it's so nice either diluted, with lemonade or with ice cream. There's elderflower everywhere just now so it's the perfect time to make this.
Plus your house smells like summer when you're making it 😊

You'll need -
15 large or 30 small elderflower heads
2 lemons sliced
2.5L water
1kg sugar

Cut your elderflower heads and shake to make sure no wee bugs are there.
Put the water in a large pot and add the elderflowers and lemons then bring to the boil.
Cover and leave to cool and infuse overnight.
Strain through a muslin square.
Rinse the pot and add the strained liquid and sugar, bring to the boil again and simmer for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile sterilise some bottles or jars by washing, rinsing and put in oven at 140° for 15 minutes.
Pour cooled cordial into bottles and store in the fridge for up to 1 month, dilute to taste 😊

Morning all, just to let everybody know I'm not in the wee shop at the Fauldhouse indoor market any more, had to take a wee step back for health reasons, I'm still baking and if you need anything just drop me a message.
Thank you to everybody who came to the shop, I'll miss you and I'll miss the craic.

Here are some of my favourites as I couldny pick just one thing and you've all given me some brilliant challenges (cheeky one I'll post in the comments 😁) so we've got Highland Coo cakes, 3 tier carousel cakes, wedding cakes with a surprise reveal at the back, 3D car cakes, Jack Skellington cakes, drip cakes, cupcakes, loaded brownies, traybakes, cheesecakes in every flavour from vanilla to Buckfast 🍾, handmade chocolate skulls, sugar cookies, Tablet, fudge and lots more.

Terms & Conditions for ordering with Wicked Desserts

A non-refundable down payment of 30%/£20 whichever is greater is required for orders over £60 within 1 week of ordering to secure your booking date, this covers supplies required in advance and bakers time as other orders will have been turned away for that date. The balance must be paid in FULL 7 days prior to collection.
For orders under £60 full payment is required at time of ordering, should you require to cancel more than 3 days before order date you will be refunded balance minus any decorations /supplies specifically bought for your order. If cancellation is less than 3 days before order no refund can be given as your order will be under way.
No dates will be held for more than 7 days without a retainer being paid, after this the date will be released to other customers.

Our orders are produced in an environment which handles all allergens, therefore we cannot guarantee allergen free products.

Allergies/dietary requirements should be made clear at time of consultation.

CAKE STORAGE & TRANSPORTATION
If you are transporting your cake please ensure you have either an empty boot or passenger footwell as these are the safest most stable areas for your cake, it should not be transported on the seat or someone's lap as this will result in making the cake unstable. If it is a warm day please ensure you have aircon on otherwise the filling/decoration is liable to melt.

Cake should be stored in a cool place away from direct heat or sunlight.

Once order has been handed over we cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect storage, handling or transportation.
Orders at this time are delivery only and delivery charges apply and will vary depending on distance.

If there are any issues with the cake these should be raised as soon after collection as possible so these can be investigated and dealt with appropriately.

Any special offers posted on page will be time limited and this will be clearly stated in the post.
