Drum roll please ……….. that’s 600 dahlias in.

It’s been a slog, the never ending task, but it’s done.

Planted by colour (although there were a few variety mix ups)

Now to keep watered and fed, supports to be put up and fingers crossed in a few weeks we should have a field full of colour and hundreds of blooms for you to enjoy

We’re looking forward to joining the market again this month.

We will have our seasonal flower bunches, grown on our field a few miles up the road, as well as some summer bedding and perennials

Market and event season is in full swing, and what wonderful weather for them. Our next market is June 13th where you’ll find our dedicated producers, crafters and growers enjoying beautiful Bures Common. Come say hi!

We’re buzzing today …growing flowers with no nasty chemicals or pesticides, and encouraging wildlife to the field to create a healthy and natural eco-systems means we see lots of beautiful bees, butterflies and other fabulous insects and pollinators amongst our blooms.

All welcome and encouraged to take a Power Nap here and there🐝🐝🦋🦋
