This year at the Village Fete we have a wide variety of Music all day playing on the main stage and marquee, numerous food trucks, 43 Stall Holders promoting local businesses, bouncy castles, children's rides, classic cars, and 2 huge Marquees! Further to our post in January our “For Sale Boards”, sponsored by Boydens Estate Agents, have now gone to print!
We are using these to promote have the Village Fete and due to Boydens generosity we are still looking for a handful more of volunteers to have one of the boards in their front garden. We are particularly looking for people living on Lexden Road, Colchester Road and Chapel Road to have a board in a prominent visible place in your garden, for approximately 6 weeks before the event, then please do get in touch asap.

Hi everyone, I don't know if anyone knows this but I arrange the West Bergholt Fete solely alone. There's no team or help from anywhere it's just me. I have Sarah Cullis who is amazing and does all my posters, advertising and sign boards but otherwise all the organisation of the fete is down to me. I took this on when the fete stopped in 2023 and revived it last year otherwise there wouldn't be a Village Fete anymore. I love this village and want to do everything I can to bring the community and local businesses together! If anyone can volunteer or help do something at the fete it would be greatly appreciated, run an event, do something for the kids anything at all would be amazing, I cannot run things like that and oversee the fete on my own. I want to grow the fete year on year and make it the envy of Colchester! I cannot do this alone, this is your fete, your community, so be proud and get behind this. I really am driven to make this the best it can be so any help really would be appreciated! Thankyou
