Top five mistakes brides make when wedding dress shopping:
1. Bringing too many opinions
This is so important! Yes it's lovely bringing all of your extended friends and family with you to make it a huge experience. BUT, the moment you fall in love with a dress and your distant great aunt Karen doesn't like it.... it'll put you off what you already know in your heart. Which leads us to point number 2
2. Trying to please everybody
This is a difficult one but ultimately, it's your decision. If you can look in the mirror at yourself and picture you wearing that dress on your wedding day, then what are you waiting for? Waiting for other people's approval or thoughts is silly because it's your decision to make and you'll never please everyone. If you love it when you're stood in the shop, you're only going to love it even more when it's your moment to wear it
3. Ignoring budget
This is a tricky one. We have so many different options and we completely understand that not everyone has the same budget. All of our dresses can be bought off the rail with a little discount. 4. Starting too late
We totally get it. Last minute weddings are a little of fun, but it can make it more difficult when choosing your dream dress. You're more limited as you would most likely have to buy off the rail. This could mean you don't get the dress you wanted because of sizing or colour choices so we would always recommend shopping 8-12 months before your big day.
5. Starting too early
Another tricky one. As much as we love a well organised bride, starting your search too early can lead to doubt as new collections are released twice a year. Not to mention changes in body shape or even theme of your wedding. 8-12 months is ideal as it gives you time to shop and then think about it before committing to the dress
