👏 Wow, what a week we’ve had! 🙌💐
For us florists, Mother’s Day isn’t just a day—it’s a full week (at least) of meticulous planning, ordering the best flowers, checking essential supplies (because running out of boxes, raffia, flower food, balloons, cards or envelopes is not an option!), updating our website, tallying up orders, and making sure every detail is perfect. We even go to bed still planning the next day in our heads!
When the flowers arrive, we carefully condition them, quality-check them, and display them in our cooler, ready to be turned into beautiful arrangements. Then, the real work begins—
✨ Wednesday: Preparing Thursday’s orders
✨ Thursday: Preparing Friday’s orders
✨ Friday: Preparing for Saturday
✨ Friday night & Saturday: Preparing for Sunday
All while answering phones, serving customers, and squeezing in a bite to eat when we can! Deliveries are another challenge—we cover a wide area and do our best to honor requests while ensuring those who ordered early receive their flowers first. It’s a massive operation, and by Sunday, we are both mentally and physically drained.
Mother’s Day is our busiest time of the year, and while it’s exhausting, it’s also incredibly rewarding. We love creating bespoke designs that bring joy to so many mums, and nothing leaves our studio unless we’re truly proud of it.
This year was even more challenging for me personally—being eight months pregnant made it even tougher on my body, but we did it! I’m so proud of my little team and myself for pushing through!
A huge THANK YOU to all our wonderful, loyal customers for your continued support. Every order means the world to us, and we appreciate you more than you know. We hope you all had a beautiful weekend celebrating the amazing mums in your lives!
