Framed on hazel and wire and keeping a little more distance between flowers, it is definitely giving bright summer meadow vibes…and we love it!

A little late but last week we sowed our sunflowers with some help from my littlest🌻

Of course we’ve gone for the giants but also multi headed flowers for bunches and arrangements.

Doing the family/work juggle with two children is part of life on our farm…Sometimes never quite having enough time to get a job ticked off the list or cramming it all in after bedtime is done. I mean, it’s taken me a week to get this post up😅😅

It can feel like spinning plates at times and the struggle is real. But I keep reminding myself of those self employed privileges we have everyday…

We can be there for the pick ups, the stay and plays, watching them get stuck into farm life and showing them that hard work and belief in yourself can bring so many rewards.

Welcome to all of our lovely followers old and new!

We are Alice and Nicola, mother and daughter, who run Hare Hill Flowers.

We have been growing our flowers and creating arrangements together for the last few years. However back in the 90’s, Nicola ran a successful dried flower business, specialising in wedding flowers and arrangements.

From pottering around my Mum’s studio and coming along to trade fairs as a little girl, we’ve been surrounded by flowers for quite a while. Skip forward a few years…we’re now running a flower business together!

Flowers are grown on my farm and dried in Nicola’s workshop. We create fresh bunches and arrangements and dried creations too.

We even have time to recreate the odd photo throwback too!!

Two commissions for a customer recently…these are the first dried flower landscapes we’ve done.

Willow frame and chicken wire centre, the flowers are weaved between the wire to create a meadow like everlasting flower scene.

The prep was a bit faffy, but once done they were so lovely to make. We love the wild look about them, however the next one is going to be even more so!!

Lots coming up in the greenhouse 🤩 The seedlings are loving this warm weather and giving them all the boost they need. We are itching to get some of the annuals in the ground. Fresh flowers are calling!!

Last day of the pop up today and this beautiful letter is off to its new home.
