& Luke at 🤍

Right, the origin story on this one is a good one. Aimee was Luke’s ex-girlfriend’s best friend at school. Years passed, they went their separate ways, and somewhere along the line these two found each other again. Sometimes the timing just has to be right.

Fast forward to Santorini, where Luke got down on one knee with their daughter strapped into a carrier eating Pom Bears. Not the version you see on Pinterest, but arguably better.

They married at St George’s Church in Hinton St George, a church Aimee had loved since she was small, then back to The Ark at Egwood, which is quite literally next door to her childhood home. Greens and whites, florals and foliage, chandeliers, and a properly relaxed feel throughout.

The moment though? Aimee walking down the aisle to Luke and their son Jackson, their mini best man, waiting for her at the end. There was also a treasure chest, a room full of guests trying keys in it and one very unsuspecting groom who had the winning one in his pocket the whole time. Chaos, in the best way.

Such a warm, friendly crowd, and always lovely to be back at this one.

Anyone else marry someone they never expected to end up with?

Yesterday was a proper one. A church wedding at All Saints in Holcombe Rogus, then back through the Devon lanes to the family farm for the rest of the day.

Now, we were let in on a secret a couple of weeks beforehand and had to sit on it. Emma sold her favourite horse, Rocky, when they moved house. Her parents quietly arranged for him to travel all the way down from Wales and appear at the reception. Callum emailed us in advance purely to make sure we were in position and, under absolutely no circumstances, let it slip.

We are pleased to report the secret held. Her reaction was everything you’d hope for, and getting to film that was a genuine privilege.

There was also a walk up the field with the dogs, that particular stretch of road heading back from the church that they’d specifically asked for, and a crowd who were warm and welcoming from the first minute to the last.

Farm weddings like this one are always our favourite kind. No two are the same, and the setting means everything when it’s somewhere that already matters to you.

Yesterday was a lovely one. These two met on Tinder six years ago at the very start of lockdown, and Jade will happily tell you she basically set herself up to be murdered on the first date. Got Ryan to collect her from the house she lived in alone, told absolutely nobody where she was going, and off she went. Fortunately murder wasn’t on the agenda. A takeaway Nando’s eaten in his car and a few hours of chatting later, that was that.

Not a bad leap of faith, as it turns out.

Four years on he proposed at Kynance Cove in Cornwall, just the two of them and their dog on the beach, in a spot that’s always meant a lot to them both.

They knew Coombe Lodge was the one the moment they walked in. That “this is our house” feeling, apparently, and you can see why. Sitting in the Mendips just outside Blagdon with those gardens and that view, it suited their light pinks and greenery perfectly. Add a singer through the ceremony and drinks reception, a proper confetti walk and we’ll be talking about for a while, and it was a very good day.

Such a friendly, warm crowd too, and always a joy to be back here.

A nightclub in Exeter back in 2019, a friend leaning over to say “you’re probably going to marry him”, and here we are. Six years later, a proposal at Tarr Steps in the pouring rain after the original plan got rained off (with Dexter supervising, naturally), and a summer vineyard wedding that was absolutely worth the wait.

Sunflowers everywhere, deep vineyard greens, warm copper tones and that incredible roundhouse. Add outdoor games, bouncy hoppers, a second dress for the first dance and a crowd who threw themselves into every second of it, and you get a day that felt joyful from start to finish.

Brickhouse Vineyard in Exeter, Devon is one of those venues that just gets better every time we’re back, and this couple were so warm and welcoming from the very first hello. It was a genuine pleasure.

Back at and it never gets old! Yesterday we spent the day capturing and Jacob’s wedding, and honestly, this venue at the foot of the Quantock Hills just keeps outdoing itself.

From getting ready in The Farmhouse and The Granary, through to an emotional first look with bridesmaids (and a second one with dad and her brother, tissues at the ready), this was a day full of proper feel good moments. Everyone around them was so warm and welcoming, it made for such a lovely atmosphere to film in.

Huge congratulations Lauren and Jacob, we had the best time capturing your day!

What a day at yesterday! .beale and Ollie tied the knot in the most gorgeous rustic setting, and honestly, this venue never fails to steal our hearts.

Fun fact - these two got engaged in a hot air balloon over Mallorca, and when they first visited Old Oak Farm, a hot air balloon happened to be taking off right in front of them. Some things are just meant to be.

From the vintage camper van arrival to sparklers lighting up the evening, every moment of this one was pure joy to film. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, it really did feel like celebrating with old friends.
