Hillside Farm Nursery & Garden Centre We are a family company, that has been farming at Hillside Farm for a 100 years. We’ve been supporting gardeners in Northamptonshire and beyond since 1990.

In our nursery, we plant, grow and sell quality plants, with friendly helpful service and advice. Hillside Farm Nursery & Garden Centre offers bedding plants, shrubs, perennials, hedging, trees, ornaments, compost, pots, hanging baskets, fruit and vegetable plants.

🌞 STRUGGLING WITH THE HEAT? WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED! 🌿

This extreme heat has been tough on our gardens, and we know many of you have sadly lost plants or have seen them struggling in the soaring temperatures. 🥵🌱

If you’re looking to add some colour with plants that enjoy the sunshine, we still have plenty in stock! 🌸 We have Geraniums, Lavender, Echinaceas and other colourful summer favourites ready to brighten up your garden. 💜🩷❤️

💧 A few tips to help your plants through the heat:

🌿 Water early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler.
🪴 Give plants a good, deep drink rather than little amounts frequently.
🍂 Add mulch around plants to help the soil retain moisture for longer.
🌱 Move pots into some shade during the hottest part of the day where possible.
🚿 With the hosepipe ban in place and no rain in sight, be mindful with the water you do have available and prioritise newly planted and container plants.
