Asparagus season, yummy! Not mine unfortunately, all my time and space is dedicated to flowers but mum and dad are keen growers themselves so a plentiful supply to share.

This little baby will turn into a massive sunflower. A beautiful, pollenless, professional cutflower variety pastel yellow one. We all fell in love with the plum version last autumn so giving this one a go.

How lovely has this weekend been! I've been out and working in the field all weekend and am shattered. Lesson to learn was.... use facial recognition for your apps as a hard weekend on your hands means your fingerprint doesn't match anymore 🤣!

Ooh I love a little pot of Assam at 4pm, no cake or biscuits unfortunately. But I'm a flower farmer so you use a bag of compost as a table and are surrounded by seedlings having a sunbathe 🌞.

Just the reward I needed after a productive day of not very glamorous jobs....turning the compost bays, moving the water butt, weeding the foxglove beds, tidying the greenhouse....🙄

The over wintered sweet peas are in!

There are the usual pastels that were so popular with florists. An added pop of colour this year with some bright pinks/reds, can't wait to see what 'Watermelon' turns out like.

We can provide them by the bucket (50 stems) or vine lengths for that added za za zoom in a big display.

I just couldn't help myself....after talking to a lovely bride-to-be this afternoon about some DIY flowers for her wedding I got over excited and have sown a whole bunch of cosmos. It's great to share in the excitement of a couples big day ❤️ 😍 💖

One of those kinda days when everything is lovely. My little family out fielding together, sun out, no wind, lots accomplished, beautiful rainbow. Topped off by winning the rugby and getting bragging rights for the year in our 2/3 English 1/3 Scottish household.

The 2025 seed sowing bonanza has started! On a rainy Sunday afternoon 200 snapdragons and 200 stocks are go. We are scaling up this year to meet demand for the wedding market.

We sow and grow all from our 3 acre field with lots of room for nature in our native hedgerows, apple orchard and wet areas, growing with no chemicals.

Buckets of flowers cut fresh to order for your special event with no preservatives, flowers that smell like they should and no packaging. Our diary is filling up for 2025, if you would like to place an order contact [email protected]
