BEHIND THE SCENES
Life outside of weddings
When we are not filming or editing, we are with our kids, days in the park or woodlands, dining out or cooking at home, trying new dishes, or a game of tennis or golf, always with a camera in hand as memories are being made. Here are some pics we took from our day out.
We love sharing little glimpses of our lives, but we don’t approach weddings in the same way.
Where it works for other vendors
Some vendors, like planners, stylists or florists, can capture behind-the-scenes moments when it is done before the event begins. This doesn’t impact the couple or their day, so it works perfectly for them.
Our approach as videographers
As videographers, however, we can’t do the same as it would mean having someone following us around in the midst of the wedding celebrations. Our approach is unobtrusive, being present. We don’t produce behind-the-scenes content for ourselves because we believe our presence should be subtle and respectful, always focused on the couple and their day. Even with a second shooter, we are there to document the day as it unfolds, not to create content for ourselves.
Our service philosophy
It is the service we choose to give, and it is what suits us and the couples we work with. While we are happy to share a little about who we are, when we are on the job, our attention is completely on the people we are there to serve.
