Repair Café coming up Sunday 2-4.45pm. We’ll be repairing clothes and other fabric items, bikes, jewellery, small electrical items, we also sharpen scissors and garden tools - all this with free drinks and cake. We’d love to see you

The Library of Requirements will be represented at this event and are looking for volunteers. I’ll also be talking about Watford-West Repair Cafe which runs at The Scout Hut in Durban Rd East

Residents are invited to connect with local causes and discover ways to get involved at an upcoming community event celebrating the vital work of charities across Watford.😃🌳

The event is being held on Saturday 6 June from 10:00am – 3:00pm outside Puttshack in Harlequin Watford 🗺️

It provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to meet charity representatives, learn more about the services and initiatives available locally, and explore how they can contribute, whether through volunteering, collaboration, or accessing support.

Another Repair Café is just around the corner - bring your jewellery, clothing, bikes and small electrical items for a repair. Also you can get scissors and tools sharpened or join the crochet gang. There’s free tea and cake for everyone so why not just pop by to see what’s going on. Sunday 31st May from 2 - 4.45pm.

If you have used our Repair Café you might also be interested in a new venture which is the setting up of a Library of Things. The Watford one is called The Library of Requirements and will be opening this summer time.
At the moment we are collecting things for the library - think kitchen equipment, garden items leisure and maintenance, power tools, camping gear, instruments, games. Everything donated needs to be working and useful. Message me here if you think you have anything suitable.
