Wow… what a month May has been. Without a doubt one of my busiest — and most varied — months yet.

From 6 weddings (4 at Knebworth Barns, 1 at Gaynes Park and 1 at Fanhams Hall), most taking place during some of the hottest May days on record, to 3 newborn shoots, family sessions, engagement shoots, and commercial jobs that quite literally had me working at the tops of buildings…

And then there were the sunsets 🌅

My obsession with golden hour and those dreamy sunset moments has definitely been fulfilled this month. A huge thank you to every one of my wedding couples for indulging me in chasing the light and creating memories that feel as special as the day itself.

June looks set to bring more of the same — just with a little more room in the diary to catch up on editing and relive all these incredible moments.

Feeling incredibly grateful to do what I love, every single day.

Golden light, romantic gardens, and a whole lot of laughter ✨

Abbie & Ross’s wedding at Knebworth Barns was the perfect balance of elegance and personality — a day filled with beautiful moments, happy chaos with the children loving the outdoor games, and so much love.

As the sun dropped lower, we escaped into the gardens for those quiet golden hour moments that always become some of my favourites to photograph. Soft light, romantic surroundings, and two people completely wrapped up in each other — exactly why golden hour will always have my heart 🌅

And because no wedding should ever be too serious… their Colin & Connie Caterpillar wedding cakes (complete with mini versions 🐛) might just be one of my favourite cake choices ever.

Knebworth Barns always delivers the dreamiest backdrop for couples wanting relaxed, romantic wedding photography — from its beautiful grounds to those sunset moments that feel straight out of a film.

Some engagement sessions stay with you long after you leave… and this one at Sudeley Castle absolutely will 🤍
There was something so special about spending the afternoon wandering these whimsical English gardens together — surrounded by ancient stone walls, hidden pathways, and so much Tudor history woven into every corner. It felt peaceful, romantic, and wonderfully timeless… the kind of place that makes you slow down and soak everything in.
What I loved most though wasn’t just the beauty of the castle grounds — it was the way these two were together. The quiet smiles, the laughter between photos, the ease of simply being side by side in this really precious season of life.
That’s why I love engagement sessions so much. Before the plans, timelines, and wedding day rush fully take over, there’s this small window where couples get to pause and celebrate them. No pressure. No expectations. Just documenting the excitement, connection, and love exactly as it feels right now.
And honestly, this is why I’ll always travel for stories like this. Getting to photograph modern love in places filled with centuries of history feels incredibly meaningful to me. There’s something magical about preserving memories in spaces that have held so many stories before them.

Looking back at these photographs from this beautiful wedding at Fanhams Hall Hotel this time last year and honestly… I can almost smell the wisteria again 💜✨

It was absolutely bursting with colour and hanging perfectly around the gardens, making the whole day feel even more magical. The Japanese gardens are always one of my favourite spots to photograph at Fanhams Hall — so peaceful, romantic, and full of little hidden corners that make every wedding feel unique.

I’m so excited to be back there again this Saturday to capture another beautiful day and I already have everything crossed that the wisteria will still be in all its glory 🌿📸
