Waterlooville Community Grotto Keep up to date on the different events going on in your local area. This page will post events that will be going on within Waterlooville.

We are a community group made up of volunteers from all walks of life. Our aim is to encourage provide every child in the borough with a quality/affordable visit with Santa. We also want to encourage a sense of pride and community spirit in Waterlooville so will post information about other community groups/charities and local businesses.

THERE WILL NOT BE A GROTTO THIS YEAR
As we announced earlier this year ,the team who run our lovely Grotto are all stepping down. We thought we had an organisation who would take it on but sadly that has now fallen through. Therefore there will be no Grotto this year , or in the future.
We are very sad as it has been fun for us and all the volunteers but for numerous reasons we cannot continue.
We will leave this page up for a few days to allow people to share so as many people know as possible but it will be deleted in the next few days.
We would like to thank all our lovely volunteers who made it so special , Waterlooville Library - Hampshire County Council for hosting us and the people of Waterlooville for their support.

Do you have a hour to spare on Wednesday evenings?
Care and Share Waterlooville Food Bank have been offered the chance to pick up spare food from Tesco Havant so we are looking for a new volunteer who can pick up food donations at 8:30 pm every Wednesday from Havant Tesco , Solent Road, PO9 1TR and deliver it to 41 Stakes Hill Road PO7 7LA so we can distribute.
We expect the volunteer to take a few things from the pick up to cover their fuel costs.
If anyone can help please message me.
You'll be doing your bit to help your local community.

Did you know you can help support Care and Share Waterlooville Food Bank while doing your shopping at Morrisons?
Customers can purchase one of the pre-packed paper donation bags in store, filled with much-needed food and essential items. Once purchased, the bags are collected and passed on to us at Care & Share, helping us continue supporting local people in our community. 🛍️💙
It’s such a simple way to make a difference – just pick up a bag while you shop and Morrisons will make sure your donation reaches us.

We are so excited to let you all know we will re-open tomorrow! (Friday 7th aug)
after a horrendous and to be completely honest, heart wrenching week, I can tell you that we had to emergency close on Friday morning last week due to a flood from the vacant unit next door, which in turn seeped into our unit ruining all of our stuff and stock out back, this has now been resolved and dried out ready to re open, as you can imagine the toll this has taken on us and our business, we lost so much stock out the back we had no idea if this meant the end of us, as the funds already lost has set us back so so far, I really hope we can count on your support over the weekend and the coming weeks to help us get back on our feet.
we cannot wait to see you all again tomorrow and can only hope for your support.

Our wonderful new venue with some old friends. Come along and get that broken toaster repaired, those secateurs sharpened or computer fixed. Maybe, learn new skills, all while you have a cup of tea and a piece of cake.

Can anyone help the lovely people at Care and Share Waterlooville Food Bank
One of our Volunteers has had to stop so we are looking for a new volunteer who can pick up food donations at 8:30 pm every Saturday from Emsworth Co op (Southleigh Road, Emsworth, PO10 7TA) and deliver it to 41 Stakes Hill Road PO7 7LA so we can distribute.
