Our friends at Honiley Church will be hosting Sunday Teas at Wren Hall this Sunday 27th July 2pm-5pm. Expect pots of refreshing tea and generous slices of delicious, home-made cakes. The perfect Sunday afternoon. With thanks to all friends of Honiley Church and Ferncumbe Ringers for helping out on the day.

Our film for Film Night on Wednesday 23rd July is going to be "A Dog's Purpose - a heart warming story of a dog who goes through four lifetimes with different owners through various time periods. During this journey, he steadily understands his real purpose. Film screening at 8.00pm - doors open at 7.30pm. Wren Hall Bar will be in operation. Tickets £6 from the website (link in bio)

Great night at last night at the Party On The Green. Plenty of of fun, entertainment, competition, singing, dancing, cakes and local beer 🍺. Thanks to all our volunteers for setting up the marquees, donating, making, helping and tidying up afterwards !!! Plans are afoot for next year already. A shout out for one of our Wren Hall Trustees, Roger Forty, who organised the recent Cycle Ride to support the charity on Sunday 18th May, raising over £3,500 in the process.

It was great to support one of our local community based businesses at the weekend at The Case is Altered pub who ran a very busy and very successful beer festival over the course of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The photo was taken just after the last drop of festival beer had been poured from the many kegs lined up for tasting. Hats off to Jackie and Charlie (and all their helpers) at “The Case” for a great community event.

Whether you want to exhibit vegetables, fruit, flowers or home made produce there's a class for everyone to enter into competition at the Autumn Garden Show on 13th September. There are also a number of craft based and family category classes so there's nothing to stop anyone from taking part. A schedule of all the classes for this years show (together with an entry form) are available on the website (link in bio), so get on and grow/make/create so you can show !

For those of you that know The Case is Altered pub on Case Lane, you might be interested to know it’s their beer festival soon - starts 5pm on Friday 30th May and continues through Saturday and Sunday. A fantastic local business, it is an important part of the local community fabric. They will be showcasing 20 beers and ciders from independent brewers. Please do pop in and show your support - you are sure to meet many friends there!! 🍺 🍺 🍺 😀 Fingers crossed for some favourable weather!!

As events take place up and down the country to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, join us at Wren Hall from 7pm on 8th May to reflect, connect and remember together. Our local History Group will be in attendance and we will also be lighting a beacon as part of the national commemoration. Refreshments and nibbles are available - all are welcome.
