You + Creativity are at the heart of every wedding I design

Amy and Janine went back & forth on their bridal bouquet designs & just could not agree.

A simple sentence from me helped break the deadlock: “You don’t HAVE to have the exact same bouquet, you know”

Sadly, they had felt it was the done thing to have everything matching.

I was so bloody excited to have the chance to create not one, but TWO bridal bouquets for the same wedding (more of this please!)

So we worked together to create designs that suited each girl perfectly. Using lots of the same blooms just in different ways, so there was still cohesion between the two, but they were as individual as the Bride carrying them- a perfect metaphor for marriage, hey?

I’m sat going through my first look gallery from the amazingly talented feeling excited, proud and a little bit giddy with apprehension about what’s to come.

This photoshoot was such a huge thing for me as I am SO not a photoshoot girl! I’m the girl behind the scenes making sure everything else looks incredible.

But I am SO glad I trusted Ruth and her creativity because the results are beyond anything I could have imagined!

Taking this leap and trusting a professional to work their magic; essentially putting myself in my client’s shoes has given me so much inspiration for how I want my clients’ experience to be and I can’t wait to tell you more!

When clients become friends, it’s just the best feeling in the world!

Keith and Neil had clear ideas about their wedding florals and the reasons behind them. They wanted to celebrate Keith’s late fathers love of his allotment and gardening. So we took this idea and created “potting shed chic” using the same flowers that Keith’s Dad grew (along with some of the couples’ and my favourites too!) we worked in autumnal tones and woodland textures and combined it all with glinting glass, long taper candles, Keith and Neil’s love of Gin, and even some ting gardening tools and watering cans too. Telling their story was so important to me and them, and it’s safe to say- it worked a treat!

Since their wedding, my hubby have become good friends with Keith and Neil and we have both gone on to adopt little ones too. We’re now forever joined by this magical wedding and the new adventure we’re all on together! What a bonus!

Yesterday was a huge deal…

And I’ll still be coming down from it for a while to come I think!
I spent an incredible (and very long!) day with the fabulous working on an amazing photoshoot for the rebrand of The Priory Flower Co.
was the stunning setting for our shoot and when I tell you the shots are beyond stunning, honestly, that’s just the start of it!

The shoot was an amazingly empowering experience and utterly out of my comfort zone! I’m SO not the girl who takes a million selfies so having a camera point at my face for 9 hours was a whole new thing! I can’t thank continually putting me at ease and encouraging me and our amazing assistants and for taking so much stress and apprehension away- I literally couldn’t have done it without you!

I realised when working on my rebrand and new identity, that I needed to go further than new logos and branding, I need beautiful ethereal and dreamy imagery that really show you what I’m all about. I’ve also wanted to take the time to make simile I get this rebrand absolutely right and not rush it for the sake of it. The next steps are to plan the launch- not long to go now…but for now, here is a sneaky peek! Who thinks they can guess the new colour palette?

Our first workshop of Winter 2023 is an Everlasting Autumn Wreath workshop at the delicious Vandal in Palmyra Square!
When we say everlasting, we mean it! I last made one of these in 2021 & I only recently (reluctantly) threw it away because I accidentally left it out in the torrential rain😂🤦🏼‍♀️) but with the right simple care, your wreath will look incredible for years to come!
