Only take photos of dresses you’re genuinely considering. Filling your camera roll with every dress you try on can make it much harder to remember how you actually felt in each one.

Don’t let one bad photo make the decision for you. Phone cameras, lighting and awkward angles rarely do a wedding dress justice. A dress you loved in person can look completely different in a quick snap.

Think about who’s taking the picture. A photo taken from the sofa by your nan isn’t the same as seeing yourself in the mirror! Ask your bridal stylist to take a few flattering photos or take a posed mirror selfie.

Always trust how you felt over how it photographed. The right dress is the one that made you feel amazing. Photos should support your decision, not make it for you.
