Most importantly, we’ll be raising awareness of how to make weddings more inclusive, ensuring elderly relatives and guests with disabilities are considered, comfortable and able to enjoy every special moment.

✨ Another beautiful venue discovered with The Wedding Guest Chaperone! 🤍💍

One of the lovely things about what I do is that it takes me to places and venues I’ve never visited before! 🥰

This time, I had the pleasure of accompanying the lovely Anne to her granddaughter’s wedding at Meadow Barn, Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club. 💐❤️

As well as helping Anne enjoy this very special family occasion, I always take the opportunity to explore the venue from an accessibility point of view. From getting around comfortably to checking facilities and access, these little details can make such a difference to someone’s wedding day.

I also love connecting with the events managers at each venue, introducing them to our services and letting them know how we can help couples include their older or less-mobile loved ones in their celebrations. 💕

Because nobody should have to miss out on making precious family memories just because they need a little extra support. 🥹🤍

💕 A very special wedding day with The Wedding Guest Chaperone 💕

Today I had the absolute pleasure of accompanying a wonderful 96-year-old lady to her eldest granddaughter’s wedding at The Mount Without in Bristol. 🥰

My role was simply to offer a steady hand while she walked with her cane, a little reassurance, and most importantly, some lovely companionship.

She was full of wonderful stories and was so interested to hear about The Wedding Guest Chaperone and our Silver Threads Mobile Boutique.

Of course, I had to ask her… “What’s your secret to reaching 96?” ❤️

Her answer?

“Just keep moving and go for a walk every day.” 🚶‍♀️

Wise words indeed!

It was such a beautiful wedding, filled with love, laughter, wonderful food and family, and I felt so privileged to help her be there to celebrate such a special day with her granddaughter. 💕

Because sometimes, just being there is everything.

Keep moving. Keep walking. And keep making memories. ✨
