Out of Guernsey before next batch of rain hit. Round the CB’s and into wing. Making up pyro for Longleat and the next 6 displays over the weekend and then on Monday, pack the Grobs off to Saudi Arabia for the winter with Aeropact 😊 I am crap at taking it easy. 😂😂

The father and son display team join the line-up for The International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight on both Friday 5 and Saturday 6 September!

You can look forward to a thrilling display with LED lights and pyrotechnics on the Friday evening as the sun goes down, followed by a graceful display on the Saturday with these two aircraft painting shapes in smoke across the skies ✈️

Based near Warminster, we are a father and son pyrotechnics air display team.

Team Leader Tim Dews has been flying the Grob 109b for over 30 years all over the world. Tom Dews is the second pilot and went solo in the Grob on his 16th birthday as did his brother Ben. Matthew, the youngest of the three, not wanting to be outdone by his brothers, went solo in a glider at 14 as the rules had changed.

Tim and Ben import the Grob motor glider for customers all over the UK and run a composite aircraft repair business from the airstrip.
