The Four Crosses – Saturday 6th June 2026

What a fantastic night we had at The Four Crosses! We were joined by a brilliant group of guests who made the event such a pleasure to host. There were plenty of laughs throughout the evening and it was great to spend the night investigating with such a fantastic bunch of people.

The night got off to a spooky start before anyone had even arrived. Sophie was alone in the building setting up when she witnessed what appeared to be a young lady with dark hair, wearing a dress and no shoes. The sighting was particularly eerie as nobody else was in the building at the time.

As the night progressed, we experienced some interesting activity across the various investigation groups. Several pieces of equipment were triggered on command, giving guests plenty to think about. The music motion sensor box was activated numerous times in the exact area where Sophie had seen the young woman earlier in the evening, which certainly added to the intrigue.

We also had some very interesting Estes sessions, with responses that gave everyone plenty to discuss afterwards.All in all, it was a great night of investigating.

When it came to lights out, only 8 brave souls decided to stay over and attempt to get some sleep! As for the two Sophies... neither of them managed any sleep at all and ended up staying awake throughout the entire night!

A huge thank you to all of our guests for joining us and helping to make the event such a success.

We'd also like to thank all of our staff for their hard work behind the scenes and throughout the night, your dedication is always appreciated.

POLITE REMINDER!!

Can we please ask all who plan to sleepover tomorrow to keep sleeping stuff in your cars until later on in the evening. This helps to eliminate any potential trip hazards when investigating.

There is no buffet on this event. We will provide biscuits, crisps and hot drinks. If you require anything more substantial then please bring this along with you.

This is a zero alcohol event.

Last night, the candles flickered, shadows danced, and whispers filled the room as our Traitors Paranormal Event unfolded… 👻

From the very beginning, suspicion was in the air. Secrets were kept close, alliances were tested, and not everyone was who they seemed. Shelley was quickly uncovered and banished early on, sending a chilling warning through the group that no one was safe…

But one traitor moved in the darkness with incredible skill .Alex. Calm, calculated, and completely convincing, Alex managed to evade suspicion right until the very end, playing an outstanding game that kept everyone guessing.
In a thrilling finale, the traitors claimed victory 🖤

A huge thank you to everyone who attended. It truly was a fantastic night had by all. The energy, the laughs, and the eerie atmosphere made it one to remember…

The Four Crosses is one of Afterlife and Spooky Events most popular locations. This 17th century building sits in an area called The Chase. This area is reportedly one of the most haunted locations in the county. The building has seen some terrifying history and ghost hunters from all over the UK have travelled to experience all the incredible phenomena that this building holds.

Lots of deaths have been recorded here but the most recent was of a young boy in the 1980s. He ran out into the main road on Watling Street, where the front door of the pub used to be. Many have claimed to see the spirit of this young boy in the bar area. He is said to play with a spirit of a young girl. Chilling children's laughter has been heared on spirit boxes in this area of the old Inn. The little girl is said to be the spirit of a documented death of a young girl who fell from the bar in the early 1990s. Other apparent sightings are of a lady in the ladies toilets. She is said to be in distress and many have heared unexplained crying sounds coming from one particular cubicle. Past investigations have not disappointed. Activity from full apparitions, disembodied voices, unexplained knocks and bangs, doors opening on their own and a huge wooden table in the very eerie cellar completely shaking on its own. Will you be brave enough to join the team on the quest for the truth?

Take part in many vigils and dare to spend the whole night in this location for a lock down like no other.

Twelve guests will enter.

On arrival, each guest will receive a sealed golden envelope.
Inside… your fate:

No one knows who they can trust.

🌒 Round One – The First Betrayal
As darkness falls, the Traitors secretly choose their first victim. The “murdered” guest must complete a lone ghost hunting vigil alone, in the dark, communicating only with whatever may be waiting below…
Meanwhile, the remaining guests gather in The Red Room Round Table to debate, accuse and attempt to banish a Traitor.
Will you spot the liar… or eliminate one of your own?

🌑 Round Two – The Haunting Deepens
The Traitors strike again.
This time more guests will be eliminated.
Those “murdered and banished" form a group and are sent to conduct a ghost hunt in the house, separated from the main game but still part of the experience.

The remaining players return to the Round Table for another dramatic banishment.
Trust will crumble.
Alliances will fall.
Voices will rise.
