Yesterday was our 2nd 'Peace and Petals' workshop and this time we used pressed flowers.
What began as a gentle creative activity, quickly became something much deeper.
As each woman selected the words that spoke to her heart, stories began to unfold. Memories were shared. Voices spoke gently. Tears flowed. Yet in that space there was no judgement... only understanding, compassion, and quiet strength.
These women, who have each walked through the deep valley of loss, held space for one another in the most beautiful way. What I witnessed yesterday was more than a workshop; it felt like sacred ground.
In the softness of petals and the honesty of shared grief, healing began to surface. Strangers became sisters. Pain was spoken out loud. And courage shone through vulnerability.
Scripture reminds us:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
And then... they sang together like rehearsed choir which evidenced what was sown in tears was reaped in joy and peace. So moving!
On this International Womenβs Day, we celebrate the resilience, tenderness, and strength of women who continue to rise even after life has changed them forever.
Like the pressed flowers they carefully placed; delicate yet bold, these women carry beauty, memory, purpose vibrance and quiet strength within them.
Let us be reminded today, that sometimes the most powerful ministry happens in the simplest momentsβ¦
when women gather, speak truth, shed tears, and discover they are not alone.
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY TO ALL THE BEAUTIFUL AND STRONG WOMEN who carry beauty and strength throughout every season of their lives πΈ
