The rain has arrived but we are dazzling with bright colours in The Hatch

I'm a big fan of summer blooms ....if only I could paint these and do them justice.

Asking for a friend, should we run an art class at The Hatch? Let's say an evening class, over 6-8 weeks?

Spotlight Saturday!

'Fluoro Bloom' - Oil & Acrylic on Aluminium

This stunning work by Adam Bresnen (Brezaux) is the largest piece featured in the Seen Unseen Dazzle and Camouflage' Exhibition.

In this piece, Adam has explored the limits of vibrancy in paint, aiming to capture the bold colours found in nature.

Beautiful prints are available. If you are a collector of art, this guy is going places!!!

Spotlight Friday!

Seeing as the sun's out, I'm going to dazzle you with these fabulous pieces from Julie Boyd.

Delicate hand embroidery has been used to decorate common household pieces, like a hand sieve and tea strainer. Julie has used a vibrant dazzle inspired pattern to transform our perception of the objects from common, plain and functional household products into unique, colourful and delicate decorative items.

Lovely to see Clare Wrench Fine Art today who popped by to drop her replacement work for the Seen Unseen, Dazzle and Camouflage' Exhibition. New piece now available for the next two Friday/Saturdays... The Hatch is open, 9.30am to 4.30pm both days ☺️
